## Why poso exists

Pharmacies, agrovets and their suppliers carry thousands of products, many with expiry dates, sell in packs and single units or bags and kilos, give credit, and often work with unreliable power and internet. Most of them still run on notebooks and spreadsheets, or on software built for supermarkets in other countries. They lose money to expired stock, stock-outs and cash they can't account for, and owners rarely know their real margins.

We built poso to fix that with one system that does the essentials properly, works at a busy counter and costs less each month than a single expired carton.

poso runs on Odoo Community, a widely used open-source business platform, with poso's own setup for medicine, farm-input and beauty shops: templates per type of shop, a Home dashboard of the numbers that need action, plan management and support tools. poso is built on Odoo Community, which is open source. The poso service, setup and modules on top of it are provided as a subscription.
