poso puts the till, stock, batches and expiry dates, purchasing, customer credit and accounts into one system. Every feature below is included in every plan.

**What does poso include?:**
poso includes a point of sale that keeps selling offline, real-time inventory, batch and expiry tracking with first-expiry-first-out (FEFO), purchasing with reorder rules, customer accounts and credit, double-entry accounting with financial reports, multi-branch stock and transfers, and a Home dashboard. All features are in every plan, from $29 a month.

## Sell

### Point of sale

Scan barcodes, sell packs or single units, take cash, mobile money and card, print or email receipts, handle returns and close the day with a cash count.

### Offline selling

When the internet drops, the till keeps selling and saves sales on the device. They sync as soon as you are back online.

### Customer accounts and credit

Sell on account to farmers, clinics and regular customers, with credit limits, statements and a clear list of who owes what.

## Stock

### Inventory management

Every sale, delivery, return and transfer updates stock in real time. Count stock, fix differences and see the value of what you hold.

### Batch and expiry tracking

Record batch numbers and expiry dates on delivery, sell first-expiry-first-out and see what expires in the next 90 days.

### Purchasing

Purchase orders, reorder rules, supplier price lists and supplier bills checked against what actually arrived.

## Run the business

### Accounting

Sales, purchases and stock post to your books automatically. Invoices, expenses, bank reconciliation, profit and loss, balance sheet and tax reports.

### Reports and dashboard

The Home dashboard shows today's sales, near-expiry batches, low stock and money owed. Click any number to see the records.

### Multi-branch

Run several shops or warehouses, move stock between them and give each person access to their own branch only.

## How the pieces work together

Most shops lose money in the gaps between separate tools: stock in a notebook, sales in a cash register, accounts in a spreadsheet at month end. In poso each step feeds the next:

- You raise a purchase order, or poso drafts one from your [reorder levels](https://www.poso.co/guides/reorder-level-formula/).

- The delivery arrives. You receive it against the order and record batch numbers and expiry dates.

- The supplier's bill is matched to what you received, so you only pay for what came in.

- The till sells the batch that expires first, and stock goes down with each sale.

- Every sale and purchase lands in your accounts with its cost, so profit is always current.

## Platform and access

## What poso does not do (yet)

We would rather you know before you sign up. poso does not currently handle medical-aid or insurance claim switching, prescription dispensing workflows, payroll, or links to government e-invoicing systems such as KRA eTIMS or URA EFRIS. ### Can poso replace my cash register, stock book and accounting software?

Yes. poso is designed to be the one system for selling, stock, purchasing and accounts, so you stop typing the same numbers into several places.

### Does poso support barcode scanners and receipt printers?

Yes. Standard USB and Bluetooth barcode scanners work like a keyboard, and receipts print on a receipt printer through the browser or can be emailed.

### Can I try every feature before paying?
