Feature · Multi-branch

Every branch. One view.

Opening a second shop doubles the work and halves the visibility, unless every branch runs on the same system. poso shows every branch from one login and moves stock between them.

Short answer

poso runs several shops, branches or warehouses in one account. Each location has its own stock, tills and staff; products, prices and suppliers are shared; stock moves between branches with a recorded transfer; and reports show each branch or the whole business. Scale includes 3 locations and Enterprise 10, with more at $39 each.

Features

Stock per branch

Each branch sees its own stock; head office sees all of it, with values.

Transfers

Send stock from the store or a branch to another branch. Both sides confirm, batches and expiry dates travel with it.

Shared catalogue

One product list, one set of prices and suppliers, maintained in one place.

Branch staff

Cashiers and managers see only their branch. Owners see everything.

Central buying

Buy for all branches at once and distribute, or let branches order for themselves.

Branch reports

Sales, margin, stock value and expiries per branch, side by side.

Control without visiting every shop

The Home dashboard and reports answer the questions owners usually drive across town to check:

  • Which branch sold the most today, and at what margin?
  • Where is the expiring stock, and can another branch sell it in time?
  • Which branch has cash differences at closing?
  • Which branch is out of a product that another branch has too much of?

For a weekly routine and the numbers to compare, read how to manage multiple branches.

Warehouse plus shops

Wholesalers and chains often run a central warehouse that supplies branches and trade customers. poso handles both: transfers to your own branches, and sales orders, deliveries and invoices to customers. See wholesale and distribution.

Multi-branch questions

How many branches can poso handle?

Starter and Growth include 1 location, Scale includes 3 and Enterprise 10, with more at $39 per location per month. See pricing.

Can each branch have different prices?

Yes. Use price lists per branch or per customer group where you need different prices; otherwise all branches share one price list.

Can branch staff see other branches' stock?

Only if you allow it. By default, staff see their own branch, and owners and managers you choose see everything.

Do transfers keep batch and expiry information?

Yes. The batch number and expiry date move with the stock, so first-expiry-first-out still works at the receiving branch.
