Terms of service.

Effective 2026-10-29

These terms apply to your use of the poso service ("poso"), provided by poso ("we"). By creating a shop or using poso you agree to them on behalf of your business. Questions: hello@poso.co.

1. The service

poso is online software for selling, stock, purchasing and accounting. We may improve and change features over time; we will not remove core functionality you rely on without reasonable notice. poso is a business tool: it does not replace professional, clinical, legal or tax advice, and you remain responsible for meeting the laws and regulations that apply to your business, including pharmacy, agricultural input and tax rules.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep logins secure and make sure your users follow these terms. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Each user should have their own login.

3. Free trial

New shops get a 30-day free trial. At the end of the trial, choose a paid plan to keep recording sales. If you don't, your shop becomes read-only.

4. Plans and billing

Plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices exclude taxes that apply in your country. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Late payment

If a payment is overdue, we may make your shop read-only until it is paid. You can still log in, view and export your data. We will not delete your data for late payment without notice.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Monthly plans run until the end of the paid month and yearly plans until the end of the paid year. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires. After cancellation you can export your data during a reasonable period before deletion.

7. Your data

You own the data you put into poso. You give us permission to host and process it only to provide, secure and support the service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. You are responsible for having the right to enter the personal data of your customers, suppliers and staff.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use poso to break the law, sell prohibited goods, send spam, attack or overload the service, access other customers' data, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what open-source licences allow.

9. Availability and support

We work to keep poso available and announce planned maintenance in advance where we can. The till's offline mode helps you keep selling during interruptions. Support is provided as described for your plan.

10. Liability

poso is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data you could have avoided by keeping exports, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Open source

poso is built on Odoo Community and other open-source components, which remain under their own licences.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will notify account owners of significant changes. Continuing to use poso after changes take effect means you accept them.
